Spirit Jailbreak Rleased! iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch
it has finally happened.. comex has released his "spirit" jailbreak for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the most recent firmware.. i had an issue on win 7 64bit where it would toss an error that said: Failed to Jailbreak (error code: c0000005).. how i got around this was set the apps compatibility mode to 98/me and set run as admin and everything worked fine... comex is gunna work on a fix.. nice work JB community! here is comexs' spirit jailbreka site:
thinkorswim iphone app iSwim update(v1.7) in app store…
thinkorswim has updated their iphone app iSwim to version 1.7 and is now in the app store for retrieval!
version 1.7 brings(according to itunes):
- support for iPhone OS 3.0+
- improved option montage
- added account information section
- numerous bug fixes
they also added a "preview" account option as you will see below... if you just sit at the login screen for a few seconds it will automatically take you into the preview account.. here are some screens i took that are updated but i didnt take some of the new account features because, well, its my account..
also, from what ive heard is that either this release or the next one will bring allot of cool iPad features.. i cant test that because i dont have and iPad(never will).. it also isnt showing up at the top of my apps list in iTunes showing it as an iPad app.. eh oh well..
Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Keynote Event scheduled for April 8!
Just shortly after the release of the ipad(which i dont care about) they announce that the long awaited keynote and release info for the next big update to the iphones operating system.. still not sure about when 3.2 will come along, but the sdk gold was released to the devs a few weeks ago and im sure that it wont be too long now, especially since the ipad is out.. i think is would be understandable if there were some hints at the next iphone coming to the table too.. iphone 4g...? g4..? HD...?
GeoHot Finds Untethered Jailbreak!

as stated above, this is good news for those of you who are not jailbroken with an iphone 3gs that you purchased back in july till now...

the iphone sdk 3.2 beta 4 has been released to the developers. it wont be much longer and 3.2 will be released to the public, i will post any new info on the release when i come across it...
